Our Story
In 1989, Congress declared October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month. There are still 42.5% women, and over 25% children effected and exposed to domestic violence and intimate partner violence annually. After 34 years, we cannot forget the mother of two was gunned down by her ex-spouse in front of her children’s daycare facility 2023 and many more brutal and
senseless incidents.
WE MUST STOP THIS VIOLENT NOW.
Our communities/nation/ world is facing problems, join in helping the Hovey Street Church of Christ team fight. We are actively conducting awareness classes, awareness walks, awareness talks, and awareness counseling. WE need your help to make the efforts go even further.
